  5. My friend Jeannie referred me to your site. I grew up in the Townsite in the 60's and my Mother ran a restaurant on West St. called the Maple Leaf. As a result, I remember a lot of the the places in your photos. Lido Gardens Restaurant, Holiday Inn, 7 Seas Restaurant, the old courthouse, the Co-Op Store at Park, Hearld and Main streets, the United Church and the Church of England that I attended as a kid. Thanks for the memories!
